Grey Oaks Cares Week of Giving
Grey Oaks Country Club raised more than $3.8 million for 70 Collier County nonprofit organizations through its Grey Oaks Cares philanthropic initiative. The Week of Giving was a six-day, club-wide event that mobilized members, staff, and leadership across the community, reinforcing Grey Oaks’ longstanding commitment to charitable leadership in Naples, FL. Primary 2026 beneficiaries include Grace Place, Guadalupe Center, Habitat for Humanity of Collier County, Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Naples Children’s Foundation, Naples Zoo, Neighborhood Health Clinic, Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee, St. Matthew’s House, The Shelter for Abused Women and Children, and Warrior Homes of Collier County, among many other nonprofit organizations addressing essential needs across Collier County.
In 2026, over $3.8 million was donated to local charities.
Following in our Founder's Footsteps
Following the example set by club founder and philanthropist Judy Sproul, Grey Oaks members have generously donated their time and treasure to a number of community outreach programs, including Habitat for Humanity, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, NCH Blood Drive, Pathways Early Education of Immokalee, Meals of Hope, Shelter for Abused Women and Children, Toys for Tots, PGA Hope, Cancer Alliance Network, and many others.
Philanthropy Funds
The Grey Oaks Philanthropy Committee was created in 2017, after Hurricane Irma, to provide meaningful support to our team members. Through the Collier Community Foundation, we manage three key funds:
Caring Fund
which assists team members and their families during times of hardship
Scholarship Fund
which helps team members and their dependents pursue educational opportunities
Philanthropy Fund
which offers flexible support and can be directed to either the Caring or Scholarship Funds as needs arise
Members may direct their donations to any of these funds, ensuring every contribution has a direct and lasting impact. The funds are exclusively supported by member contributions.
As of 2026, GO Members have raised over $2M for this initiative.
New Fund! GO Cares
In 2026, Grey Oaks Country Club established its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called GO Cares. During the club's Week of Giving, over $3.8 million was donated by to local charities through this newly established fund.
"A Night for the Islands"
Over $500,000 Raised to Support GO Team Members Affected by Hurricane Melissa.
We were deeply grateful to the Grey Oaks membership for contributing to the success of the "A Night for the Islands" charity event. Their generosity made an incredible difference and truly embodied the spirit of Grey Oaks. With over $500,000 donated, our Jamaican and Haitian team members affected by Hurricane Melissa can begin to recover and rebuild. It is inspiring to see a community come together with such compassion and commitment.
