Golf - U.S. Women's Open Qualifying Site
In May 2025, Grey Oaks Country Club, in partnership with the Florida State Golf Association, hosted a qualifier round for the 80th U.S. Women’s Open Championship, one of the most prestigious events in women’s golf. 78 players, including 30 former or current golfers on the LPGA Tour, tested their shot-making skills on the Pine Course, which was meticulously restored by industry-leading golf course architect Andrew Green. Grey Oaks was chosen for this high-profile event due to the outstanding conditions of its golf courses, the quality of its practice facilities, and the professionalism and hospitality of its golf staff. Five players qualified for the 80th U.S. Women's Open Championship, notably Julia Lopez Ramirez, who finished in the top 20.
